Who I am
This website is run by Amie Perkins, trading as Amie Perkins PT ("I", "me"). I'm a personal trainer based in Putney, London, and I'm the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
If you have any questions about your data, you can contact me at email address or by post at postal address. ICO registration number: ICO number.
What information I collect
I only collect what I need to respond to you and to coach you well. This includes:
- Your application: your name, email address, phone number, Instagram handle if you add it, your training experience, your goals, what has made consistency hard before, the coaching option you're interested in, when you'd like to start and how you heard about me.
- Booking a call: your name, contact details and the time you choose.
- Coaching clients: your training programme, check-ins, messages, progress notes and anything you choose to share such as measurements or progress photos.
- Health information: details from your pre-exercise health questionnaire, and any injuries, medical conditions or pregnancy you tell me about.
- Payments: billing details and payment history. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and I never see or store your full card number.
- Messages: anything you send me by email, WhatsApp or Instagram.
- Website use: basic technical information collected through cookies (see the cookies section below).

Information about your health is special category data under UK data protection law, so I treat it with extra care. I only use it to make sure your training is safe and suitable for you, and I only collect it with your explicit consent.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. If you do, I may not be able to keep coaching you safely, and I'll talk this through with you.
How I use your information
The law requires me to have a lawful basis for each way I use your information. Here is what I use it for and why.
